Access to all Glacier View Lodge programs is arranged through VIHA's Home & Community Care. The Comox Valley office can be reached at (250) 331-8522

• Residential Care

  Glacier View Lodge provides a caring home for residents who have complex health needs. We are proud to be known for excellence in dementia care.

  We provide professional nutritional services, activation programming, spiritual care, housekeeping and laundry services. We follow many best practices to deliver resident-centered care.

  We are committed to regularly reviewing the care that we provide through ongoing quality management and regular surveys by Accreditation Canada.

• Respite Stays

  Glacier View Lodge provides short-term care to those whose caregivers need a break. Those admitted to our respite program are able to access all care and services available to residents of Glacier View Lodge.

• Adult Day Program

  The Adult Day Program offers services to seniors with complex health issues who are still living in the community to connect with others in the community and participate in a variety of social, physical, cognitive and spiritual/emotional programs.

  Clients attend on the same day each week, allowing their caregivers to have a scheduled break.

• Community Bath Program

  If you have physical disabilities or other health concerns that make it difficult to bathe safely in your own home, you may benefit from a community bath. Glacier View Lodge provides specially equipped bathing room and the assistance of trained staff.
