Volunteer Overview

Glacier View Lodge provides a caring home environment for residents with complex care needs.

We work as a team in providing a warm, caring, home environment that contributes to the quality of life for our seniors and their families. The seniors who live at Glacier View Lodge come to our facility with a life history and many stories.

Volunteers are important members of the team. Our hope is that volunteers will help our residents to remain connected to what has given their life meaning. It may be that no two volunteers, or community organizations, will contribute to the quality of life for those living at Glacier View Lodge in just the same way.

• Do you like to fund raise or be part of a group? Think about our Auxiliary.

There are unlimited volunteer opportunities ~ some directly with residents and other behind-the-scenes jobs! Let us know what your special interests are.

IMPORTANT: Please review the Pre-Orientation Reading, call us to arrange a letter that will allow for you to have your Criminal Record Check processed and make an appointment at the Health Unit for your TB test. When these steps are completed, call Glacier View Lodge to speak to Liz about your Volunteer Orientation at 250 338-1451.
